On the morning of June 5th, 1994 Rebecca Hunt, a nurse traveling to Pennsylvania to visit family, took her dog on a walk while her car was being repaired at a shop 3 miles north of Lake City, Florida. What she would discover would become Lake City's next tragedy. The human remains of a teenage boy was found near a dumpster at the service station Ms. Hunt was at by her dog; along with a bagful of evidence that contained a shirt, knives, and a slew of other evidence that was tied to the murder.
